Vanderpump Rules began as a show centered around the lives of employees at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant, SUR. Over the years, it’s expanded to so much more. Here’s a helpful guide.

An acronym for Sexy Unique Restaurant, SUR is Lisa Vanderpump’s West Hollywood spot that started it all as the main backdrop for Vanderpump Rules.

We met the Vanderpump Rules cast as SURvers, but some, including Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval, and Ariana Madix, worked at this Beverly Hills hotspot before bringing their skills to SUR. The restaurant closed in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lisa opened Pump – a gorgeous West Hollywood garden experience – in Season 3. After 10 successful years, the restaurant closed in 2023.

In partnership with Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval, Lisa Vanderpump opened this moody West Hollywood spot in 2018.

After their experience with TomTom, Schwartz and Sandoval opened a cocktail lounge and restaurant in Franklin Village in 2022.

Since Season 10, fans have followed Ariana and Katie Maloney’s journey to open their own rom-com inspired sandwich shop, which is still in the works.

In Season 11, Lisa took the Vanderpump Rules crew to the site of her latest restaurant, Wolf, in Lake Tahoe. The bold eatery has planned an April 2024 grand opening.
