The West Hollywood sandwich shop opened in May 2024 after lengthy delays. On the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Katie and Ariana noted the “logistical red tape” they experienced before getting the shop open.
The Spot has Rom-Com Vibes
The sandwich shop was designed by Jon Hutman, who works with film director Nancy Meyers on her aesthetically-pleasing movie sets.
Something About Her Whips Up Sandwiches
They offer an array of wine, tea, and assorted pastries. The sandwiches, like the tuna salad on a baguette called The Diane or the chef's chicken salad with gem lettuce called The Reese, are nods to rom-com actresses.
Diane Keaton Visits
In June 2024, the Oscar winner (who’s graced Nancy Meyer films) snapped a photo with Katie’s mom. Ariana posted the pic on Instagram, adding: "I will never recover..."
Tom Sandoval’s Ex-Assistant Works There
After working with Sandoval, Ann now works at Something About Her in a non-customer facing role. Katie praised her “presence and enthusiasm” as being a “great addition” to the team on the Vanderpump Rules After Show.
