Amanda Batula Had the Best Response to Confusion Around *That* Two-Piece Set

Amanda Batula knows how to dress for the occasion. The Summer House cast member recently flaunted her impeccable style at the beach in colorful bikinis, at the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse in a sparkly set, and of course on her wedding day in an elegant gown. But, the newlywed caused some confusion with her going-out ensemble during the January 31 episode of Summer House. 

Before the crew left for a night on the town, Lindsay Hubbard made sure Amanda was ready for the outing. "Amanda, are you going to go out like that?" Lindsay asked upon seeing her castmate's flowy pink-and-blue two-piece set, clearly assuming it was sleepwear. "Let's get you changed."

To her surprise, Amanda was indeed going to go out like that. "Lindsay, this is an outfit!" she laughed while other castmates cracked up at the mistake.

After the episode aired, Amanda took to Instagram to shed more light on the ensemble. "I am so happy this moment made it in [the episode]," she wrote. "We couldn't stop laughing. And to be clear, this 100000% was a matching set and not a fabric you would ever wear to bed as pajamas." To prove her point, Amanda linked Zara's viscose knit jacquard buttoned shirt and culottes in a subsequent Story.

On the same night Summer House aired, the pajama-like outfit was a topic of discussion yet again when Danielle Olivera and Lindsay stopped by the WWHL Clubhouse. Danielle's assessment of the look: "I think they were very fashionable, post-pandemic PJs. But PJs nonetheless." In a poll, 85% of the WWHL audience agreed that the set looked like sleepwear.
