Lindsay Hubbard Responds to Jessica Stocker’s Shady Comments About Her Appearance

During Season 2 of Winter House, many of the cast members were quick to point out that their new roommate Jessica Stocker bore a striking resemblance to Lindsay Hubbard. However, when the Summer House OG arrived in Vermont for a visit, Jessica didn’t seem thrilled by the physical comparison. 

Although Lindsay joked at the time that Jessica was the “younger, hotter version” of her, Jessica said in an episode interview that she was “shocked” their castmates saw similarities between them. “She looks a lot older than me,” she said. “When people are like, ‘Oh, you remind me of Lindsay, I’m like, ‘Like, she could be my mom or my aunt, or what do you mean by that?’”

As Andy Cohen put it on the December 15 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the comments were “rough,” and Jessica agreed. “I actually did apologize to [Lindsay],” she shared. “When I watched it, I cringed. I was just like, ‘Why would you say something like that?’ And I really don’t have an answer. But I would take it back, 100 percent.” 

Months later, Lindsay shared her thoughts on the matter during the February 13 WWHL After Show. “I found out when she was on Watch What Happens Live that she had reached out,” Lindsay says in the video above. “I was like, ‘Oh, wait, she did?’ I went through my DMs and then found the DM and realized she had reached out, and then I think I was too busy to answer.” 

“You were too busy to answer? What were you busy with?” Andy asked with a smirk, to which Lindsay quipped, “Anything.”

Lindsay opened up about her initial reaction to Jessica’s comments in a December 2022 interview with Entertainment Tonight. “I was like, ‘Dude, this girl said she wanted compliments!’” she said at the time. “I think it’s quite a compliment to be compared to me, not even just for my physical appearance. I have a pretty fun personality. She should have taken it as a compliment.”

“I don’t really get upset if somebody kind of slams or disses my looks or appearance,” she continued. “That doesn’t upset me. I’m like, ‘Oh, OK… good one,’ you know? Like, I have a pretty solid self-confidence. So I just don’t care. It just never bothers me.”
