Paige DeSorbo Reveals the Surprising Thing She Recently “Taught” Craig Conover

Craig Conover has apparently upped his skincare game — and it’s all thanks to his Summer House girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo.

During a recent interview with New Beauty, Paige was asked about Craig’s skincare regimen and how it was essentially nonexistent before she entered the picture.

“I pick my battles for sure,” she said about her influence on the Southern Charm-er’s daily routine. “He was such a boy in that he didn’t understand how every girl is coming home and washing their face in the sink without just fully getting in the shower — he doesn’t know how we do it.”

The fashion writer said Craig was initially opposed to washing his face at the sink because he hated how the water would drip down the arms and get the surrounding area all wet. Paige told the outlet her boyfriend simply had the wrong approach, so she gave him a few pointers on how to cleanse at the sink.

“I taught him how to wash his face, and that’s really all I can ask for, and he uses a moisturizer — anything else is like pulling teeth,” she said.

Though Craig’s regimen is relatively quick and easy, Paige told New Beauty she prefers it that way.

“I also don’t want him to have a skincare routine, because I feel like men get better with age and that’s frustrating for me,” she explained. “So I like that he doesn’t have one. I don’t need him aging better than I do.”

This isn’t the first time Paige has dished on Craig’s grooming practices. In a 2022 sit-down with E! News, Paige said that when she first started dating Craig, his knowledge of proper skincare was quite limited. But after she showed him the basics, he quickly became obsessed with face masks — so much so that he would get “annoyed” if Paige used a mask without offering him one.

The April 10 episode of Summer House will shed more light on Craig and Paige’s long-distance relationship. The preview in the video below highlights the couple’s emotional discussion about their possible engagement, as well as Paige’s reluctance to move to Charleston. She tells Craig a proposal would “be amazing,” but would immediately “start the clock” for her relocation from the Big Apple — a move she clearly isn’t ready to make.

“It’s a lot. I will be changing my whole life,” she said before getting emotional. “I will be changing a lot more than you will be… I have no friends in Charleston. I don’t know anyone. My whole career is [in New York]. My family is in New York… I don’t want to leave my mom.”
