Beauty School Dropout
Episode 8: Bravotv.com's Associate Editor counts down the top three "Really?!" moments.

I have to admit, when I learned Tabatha was taking over a beauty school, the lyrics to Beauty School Dropout kept playing in my head. (Apologies if it's stuck in your head. Now you understand what I've been dealing with all day.) In any event, I most certainly would have dropped out of pre-takeover Flavio Beauty College (despite the fact that the instructors all have amazing names like Mister P, Miss Kathy, and Sue). That place was in desperate need of some revitalization, and adorable little Dr. Flavio was no longer able to provide it at his age. Let the man retire!
Luckily Tabatha was able to turn around Flavio's school despite some serious "Really?!" moments. The fact that she was able to change Mister P's attitude alone was a small miracle!
Really?! Moment No. 3 - A Hole Lot of Garbage
Miss Kathy's classroom was on the verge of becoming a dumpster. Seriously, students were just dropping trash into every little nook and cranny. I didn't realize Miss Kathy was teaching grade school students here. But I suppose when you've given up on your school and your school has given up on you, why not stuff some paper towels down a hole? And as much as I love Miss Kathy, you can't not clean your room at all. Find a way to enforce the rules! Plastic wrap any open areas if you must, but don't let your room become a hoarder haven for trash.Really?! Moment No. 2 - P is for Problems
The P in Mister P evidently stood for problematic, because he really gave Tabatha a hard time. He couldn't ever seem to admit when he was wrong or made a mistake. And some of those dye jobs we saw him do were big mistakes. He actually made one of the students cry because she was so unhappy with the cut and color. You'd think someone who's been in the industry for 37 years would be able to execute a 'do that would at least keep his client from bursting into tears. Yikes. (I will admit I loved his line, "I'm not god, and there's no magic shop across the street.")

Really?! Moment No. 1 - Flavio of Love
The biggest shock of the entire episode was simply that fact that the staff and students didn't keep it together for the cutest little old man on the planet, Dr. Flavio. LOOK AT THIS GUY!
How could you possibly allow this man to possible become homeless? Hopefully business continues to boom post-takeover so Dr. Flavio can enjoy retirement and take a fabulous vacation. The man has definitely earned it.Next week's episode is for the dogs. Literally. I can't wait to see Tabatha interact with pets when she take over this struggling dog hotel.
