Emily Simpson's Emmys Date Has the Sweetest Connection to Another Real Housewife
He played a huge part in another Real Housewife's life.
Emily Simpson is having one unforgettable California night. The Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer got to attend the 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Monday night, and she served up so much old Hollywood glamour at the ceremony.
But it wasn't just Emily's gorgeous look that made us do a double take while following along her incredible night on Instagram. Her Emmys date also caught our eye.
Emily attended the awards show with Dr. James W. Mercer. If that name sounds familiar or you think you've seen him before, you're definitely right. Dr. Mercer owns a foster care and adoption agency in Texas from where Brandi Redmond adopted her baby boy, Bruin Charles, with the help of their mutual friend and Stephanie Hollman, we learned earlier this season of The Real Housewives of Dallas. Emily has become tight with Brandi and Stephanie, too. Small world, isn't it?
And it looks like Emily and Dr. Mercer appeared to have the best time at the Emmys. Not only did they look absolutely amazing together, but they also got to see none other than Justin Timberlake on the red carpet.
