Vanderpump Rules and The Real Housewives now have something in common other than sharing Lisa Vanderpump between them. On Thursday (May 3), it was announced that both the SURvers and the 'Wives are nominated for Best Reality Series for the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
Vanderpump Rules and The Real Housewives are nominated along with Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Love & Hip Hop, and RuPaul’s Drag Race in the same category, according to Deadline.
And you can bet that Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Ariana Madix, Kristen Doute, and Scheana Shay are stoked about the big news. (It comes on the same day that their boss, LVP, received the equally-fab accolade of Rihanna gushing over her in Vogue.)
Black Panther scored the most nominations for the event with seven nominations, followed by Stranger Things with six nods. The MTV Movie & TV Awards will air next month with breakout funny lady Tiffany Haddish serving as the event's host. She's also nominated for her role in Girls Trip for Best Comedic Performance and Scene Stealer. No word on if she'll wear that dress again....
