This season of Below Deck Mediterranean is shaping up to be very different than Malia White's first time on the show in Season 2, especially in the galley. Back then, Adam Glick served as chef, and not only did things heat up for him and Malia before ultimately cooling down that charter season, but he also just brought his own unique flavor to the position.
But now that Malia has gotten a taste of working with a different chef, Hindrigo "Kiko" Lorran, in Season 5, whose cooking does she prefer?
Andy Cohen tasked Malia with choosing between the current crew of The Wellington and Season 2's Sirocco yachties in various scenarios during a little game called "How Do You Crew?" in the July 13 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home (clip above). In that, the host asked if Malia would rather have Kiko or Adam as her personal chef, to which the bosun replied, "Kiko."
Malia reflected on her past fling with Adam during an interview with The Daily Dish podcast earlier this season, admitting that she may have "dodged a bullet" after hearing about the chef's antics in Season 1 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. But just because things didn't end well for Malia and Adam in Season 2 of Below Deck Med doesn't mean she has any ill will toward the chef today. “I wish him well, though. I have no hard feelings towards Adam," Malia said during a separate interview with The Daily Dish earlier this season. "I think there’s definitely a good guy in there somewhere. We just don’t keep in touch."
Malia had lots more to say about the Below Deck Med Season 2 and Season 5 crews on WWHL: @ Home, including which Hannah Ferrier "has it more under control," who is the "more hot-tempered" Captain Sandy Yawn, and which group of yachties is "hornier." All is revealed in the above clip.
