Sadly, Paul’s father also passed away.

After briefly separating earlier this summer, The Real Housewives of Beverly HillsAdrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif have decided to end their ten-year marriage.

“It's always about the children and what's in their best interests," Adrienne told People after the couple -- who share sons Gavin and twins Christian and Colin -- initially split. "I love my children. They come before anything I've ever done. They're healthy, happy kids. I want to keep them that way."

Adrienne and Paul have since both filed divorce papers citing irreconcilable differences, and unfortunately the timing couldn’t have been worse for Paul. “Adrienne & I tried very hard to make our marriage work. A difficult time. Sadly, lost my dad yesterday, a man who taught me how to be a man,” the Beverly Hills plastic surgeon confirmed via Twitter.

Upon hearing the news, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Richard Wakile responded, “@DrPaulNassif my sincerest sympathies to you & your family! Lost my dad 11yrs. Ago & I know what your going through. Stay strong my brotha!”

Emphasizing with her co-star, Camille Grammer likewise offered her support through a difficult situation. “So saddened by the news about Adrienne and Paul. Best to the both of them. From one mother to another... Stay strong Adrienne.”
