SNL's Aidy Bryant Praises Ariana Madix's Comedy Chops
The SNL star weighs in on the comedic stylings of the #PumpRules cast.
Ariana Madix and Kristen Doute are going to get into a feud during next week's Vanderpump Rules, but it won't be about Tom Sandoval or anything else that has gone down on the show so far. No, they're going to have a sketch comedy showdown over who's the real funny lady of the Vanderpump Rules crew.
As Ariana says in the above clip, she has been doing comedy for 10 years. However, Kristen is fairly newer to the game, recently starting to perform as a member of the sketch comedy team Pretty Inappropriate.
We'll have to wait and see who will reign supreme in this battle, but so far, Ariana is winning by a hair. That's because she got a major endorsement from Saturday Night Live cast member Aidy Bryant during Monday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live. "I can vouch for Ariana," Aidy told Andy Cohen, revealing that she and the Vanderpump Rules bartender share a mutual friend in sketch comedy, which is how she also knows Sandoval. "I'm legit, so she's legit, baby."
But still, Aidy is super excited that Ariana and Kristen are going head-to-head on the show. "Whoa, I'm going crazy! It is a fantasy fight for me," Aidy said after seeing the preview of next week's Vanderpump Rules. "I love hearing like, 'Your jokes are trash.' That's all I ever want to hear."
