Tracy & Flagg Have Some *Thoughts* on the Altmans' Office Opening: "It's in a Parking Lot..."
Josh Flagg and Tracy Tutor were met with a surprise when they stopped by Josh and Heather Altman's new Orange County office.
You can't always throw parties in penthouses or homes with their own museum. Sometimes — as was the case with Josh Altman and Heather Altman's Orange County office opening — a parking lot has to suffice.
During Season 15, Episode 10 of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, Josh Flagg and Tracy Tutor showed up to support the couple at their new office's ribbon-cutting ceremony. And though they were thrilled for their colleagues, the pair couldn't help but make some jokes at the party locale's expense.
"Why have a red carpet? It's in a parking lot. What are we red carpeting?!" said Tracy in a confessional. Still, she gave them their roses. "The truth is, I know what they were up against with the construction. So to see the outside of it done with their name sort of loud and proud is pretty incredible. Good for them," she added.
Naturally, Josh Flagg joined in the fun.
"Never thought of the day when you would come visit for something like this," joked Matt Altman when he saw Josh Flagg arrive, to which he quipped back, "Never thought of the day I'd walk the red carpet in a parking lot."
And when Josh Altman asked his fellow realtors what they thought of the space? Tracy said, "The parking lot is gorgeous," prompting a chuckle from everyone.
"The asphalt looks great," added Josh Flagg.
Perhaps eager to prove there was more to the space than the outside, Josh Altman took Josh Flagg inside the construction zone for a sneak-peek at all the goodness to come.
"It's super raw, and now you can understand why we were stressing out [about getting everything done]," Josh Altman said.
Josh Flagg was eager to note that the facade-forward space reminded him of somewhere... his totally gutted Bedford home, to be specific.
"I now see why the party was in the parking lot," he said in a confessional.
Josh & Heather Altman Reveals the Final Cost of Their Office Renovation
Despite it all, the Altmans were thrilled to see the finished product of their building's facade.
"This looks so, so amazing. Better than I expected for so many reasons," said Heather after getting out of the car.
"The real estate gods are smiling on us now," added Josh.
In a confessional, they shared even more of their excitement — and explained how the big project got done in just a couple weeks' time.
"It looks sick. Are you kidding me? It looks way better than I thought it was going to look," said Josh. "I'm shocked. I cannot believe [contractor] Zac pulled this off. ... I don't even know. I can't even wrap my head around how it got done."
"Let's just say there was a lot of overtime added to our invoices," noted Heather, half-jokingly. "Do you want to know how much it cost?"
Josh didn't ... but if you're interested? It was $135,000 over the couple's $2,000,000 budget.
