Housewife Wannabe Amy Schumer Wins an Emmy Award

The Bravo superfan's series Inside Amy Schumer takes home a coveted golden statue.

Amy Schumer Really Wants to Be a Real Housewife

One of Bravo's biggest fans went home with an Emmy Award for her work on the Comedy Central series, Inside Amy Schumer. Creator and star Amy Schumer won the trophy for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series, and we LOL'd more than once when she hit the stage to accept. "We had to get [screenwriting software] Final Draft once they picked up our show. We didn't own it. I almost made a stupid sex talk show that nobody wanted, and [head writer Jessi Klein] got drunk and told me that I had to follow my dreams and make my dream show," she said. (For the record, we would have watched that.) "Thanks everybody who has helped me. Thanks to the girl who gave me this sort of a smoky eye. I really love it." Hey, so do we!

Check out her full speech, and relive her awesome Real Housewives audition above.
