Trivia About Anderson Cooper & Andy Cohen

If you've ever wanted to party with Andy Cohen on New Year's Eve (and who hasn't?), your dream is about to become a reality. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host will be emceeing CNN's New Year's Eve Live with his longtime friend Anderson Cooper live from Times Square this year.

How to Watch

Tune in to WWHL on Bravo Sunday through Thursday and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Andy announced the good news on Twitter Wednesday, and he "could not be more excited!" "I've been friends with Anderson for twenty-five years," the WWHL host said in a statement. "We've travelled the world together and performed in 30 plus cities with 'AC2' and it's all led to this one huge night!"

Of course, Anderson is pretty stoked about ringing in the New Year with his best bud, too. “Andy is the life of the party wherever he goes, and what bigger party is there than New Year's Eve?" he said in a statement. "It is going to be a blast!”

Andy will be stepping into the co-host spot previously filled by Kathy Griffin, who was terminated from the gig following the controversy surrounding her photo shoot in protest of President Donald Trump. Though Anderson spoke out against Kathy's actions following the incident, he still remained supportive of his friend. Kathy told The Cut that her friendship with Anderson had ended amid the fallout from the scandal.

Watch Anderson give his take on this summer's controversy, below.
