Andy Cohen and Snooki Settle Their Beef Over Speculation of Her Potentially Joining RHONJ
The Watch What Happens Live host explained why he previously said the Jersey Shore star wouldn’t be a good fit forThe Real Housewives.
Andy Cohen and Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi are setting the record straight on the supposed "public war" they've been engaged in ever since he shot down the idea of her joining The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
For starters, there was never really a war to begin with. As the Watch What Happens Live host told Snooki herself during the January 23 episode of Andy Cohen Live, "I said, ‘I don’t see it.’ I was like, ‘I don’t see it at all. Ever.' Now here’s why I said it: I view you as, like, one of the faces of MTV and the face of Jersey Shore."
“And so to me, it’s like putting Mickey Mouse in a Bugs Bunny cartoon," Andy added. "It’s too different."
Snooki, meanwhile, insisted she was "not mad about it."
"You were just a little sarcastic," she told Andy, "so I had to come back."
That's when rumors of a feud began spreading — but as Andy and Snooki made clear on his Radio Andy show, the rumors were just that: rumors.
"Snooki and I are not in a war," Andy added. "We love each other."
So much so, in fact, that when Snooki and her Jersey Shore co-star Jenni "JWoww" Farley asked if they could appear on WWHL in the future, Andy responding with a resounding "of course." (For the record, they have previously appeared in the Bravo Clubhouse twice in 2012.)
Below, check out a throwback clip from the RHONJ Season 11 reunion in which the Garden State cast mentions Snooki and if she'd be a good fit to hang with them.
