Andy Cohen “Almost Cried” the First Time He Saw *This* Real Housewives Moment
The WWHL host has seen it all, but this Real Housewife's speech stands out.
Dorinda Medley is known for her ability to throw out sassy one-liners. The Real Housewives of New York City castmember does not hold back. But there is one moment from the RHONY pal, that dates back to Season 9 in the Berkshires, that Andy Cohen believes is her defining iconic speech.
"'I made it nice' [is more iconic] because that 'clip' [comment] was a cute moment and it was great and whatever," Andy said on the July 16 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "But 'I made it nice,' the thing that makes the speech so iconic is that it is a speech. It is a speech that anyone can relate to. This woman broke her back to have her friends come over. She cooked. She cleaned. She made it nice. And these bitches are disrespecting her at every step of the way [and] her mother's cake -- and she broke."
In fact, he added, "I almost cried when I saw that for the first time because I just thought it was so relatable for every woman or man who has spent a long time preparing. And many people have breakdowns on Thanksgiving night. It just is emblematic of doing something and not being respected for it."
