Andy Cohen Reacts to Lisa Vanderpump Leaving RHOBH After 9 Seasons: “She Is Iconic"
The WWHL host also revealed his thoughts on LVP skipping the Season 9 Real Housewives reunion.
After Lisa Vanderpump revealed that she would be stepping away from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after nine seasons, Andy Cohen opened up about the news — as well as her decision to skip the Season 9 reunion — on Radio Andy this week.
“I will refer you to what LVP said about Adrienne [Maloof] not showing up in the Season 3 reunion. I mean, LVP was spot on and that’s kind of all I can say about that. I wish she had been there. What can I tell you? I really wish she would have been there and I think she would’ve done great and I hope and I think she actually could’ve left with some resolution. And as for LVP leaving the show, no one will ever replace her," he said. "I gotta tell you. And no one can replace her.”
He went on to call the mogul "iconic" and revealed just where fans will get the chance to tune into Lisa on the regular in the future. "And I am so glad that we will continue to see more of Lisa in all of her glory on Vanderpump Rules. I mean, I guess that’s what mitigates the loss of her from Beverly Hills,” he said. “She will always be the Queen of Diamonds in the Bravo universe and as for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, listen, the show will go on … the door will always be open to Lisa as it is when people leave the show.”
LVP has been open about her decision to step away from RHOBH in several interviews over the last week. She also hinted at a possible exit during an interview for the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9 After Show (clip above). Andy confirmed she was not at the Season 9 reunion.
On his radio show this week, Andy went on to give some major props to the remaining RHOBH ladies. He called the rest of the 90210 cast "rock stars" and "real all-stars," adding with enthusiasm: "Look at that line-up."
