Andy Cohen Says the RHOSLC Season 5 Premiere Features a Major First for a Housewives Show
Andy Cohen declared that he "can't wait" for fans to see the RHOSLC Season 5 premiere.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will be returning for Season 5 on September 18, and Andy Cohen is very excited about it.
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host appeared on a recent episode of Jeff Lewis Live, and he teased a major Housewives first on the Season 5 premiere.
"It's very good, and the first episode starts with such a bang, and they do something that I don't think has been done on a Housewives show before, which is the first full episode is the first full all-cast event," he explained. "And so much happens."
"That's a great idea!" host (and Flipping Out alum) Jeff Lewis said in response.
"It's really great..." Andy continued. "It's excellent, and the women are great, and it feels very fresh."
What's more, after a "huge" fourth season, Andy promised that the RHOSLC ladies are continuing to deliver.
"This feels very — from the jump — 'Oh, wow, they're off to the races,'" he added. "It's very good. I can't wait. Yeah, it's really good."

What to expect from RHOSLC Season 5
According to the official press release for RHOSLC Season 5, viewers will see "Tension. Resentments. Couture. New women."
The trailer, which you can check out at the top of this post, also promises drama, shifting alliances, and an icy chill in the air. For starters, Mary and Meredith's friendship is on the line as the jewelry designer accuses the mom of one of using her.
"You used me for three years, I got the memo," Meredith says to Mary after Mary accuses her of being a bad friend.
Then, after repairing their cousin-ly relationship, Heather and Whitney are, once again, at odds. "Never in a million years, after everything we've been through, did I think that you would reach out to our sworn enemy," Heather says to her cousin.
"I sought out proof and was given the proof!" Whitney responds.
Angie K. and Lisa are also clashing over parenting, while Heather isn't exactly warming up to newbie Bronwyn.
See more from the ladies when RHOSLC Season 5 premieres on September 18.
