Daisy Kelliher Reveals If She's Dating Keith After Below Deck Sailing Season 5 (EXCLUSIVE)
Plus, find out where Daisy Kelliher stands with stews Danni Warren and Diana Cruz now that filming on Below Deck Sailing Yacht has wrapped.
Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher and deckhand Keith Allen kissed goodbye and pledged to meet up in London on the Season 5 finale of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, but did the yachties keep their word?
Yes — and they began dating. However, the two are no longer together today.
Daisy confirmed as much in an exclusive post-season interview with The Daily Dish. As she put it, "Keith and I dated long distance for a year after filming, but ended after a year due to a few reasons, but mainly distance."
That said, they're "still in touch quite frequently," Daisy added.
What happened between Daisy Kelliher and Keith Allen?
Daisy and Keith both reaffirmed their feelings for one another on the Season 5 finale of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, with the latter explaining in a confessional interview, "When I'm working, I'm like in a work zone, and if there's any kind of romance, it just gets messy. But I kind of realized that Daisy and I see the world almost through a similar lens. And for me, when you build a connection with someone, that makes it 100 percent worth it. Daisy is someone that I'm going to be in touch with for a long time, I hope."
Daisy, meanwhile, stated in a confessional of her own, "I think when you're younger and you're having fun, you put up with anything. But now I think I'm mature enough to realize I deserve better. I don't know what's gonna happen in the future. Maybe Keith and I will get married and have a baby ... I'm joking. That's definitely not gonna happen. But you know, we don't know."
Now we know some of what happened, though.
But while Daisy and Keith remain in touch today, the same can't be said for her and Parsifal III stews Danni Warren and Diana Cruz.
Is Daisy Kelliher on good terms with Danni and Diana after Season 5?
Daisy told The Daily Dish, "I do not speak to Danni and Diana. I wish them the best in their future endeavors but we did not leave the boat as friends and I have no interest in being friends with them and I think it’s safe to assume the feeling is mutual."
Further reflecting on her experience as chief stew on Season 5, Daisy said that watching everything back was "a learning experience."
"And I definitely have taken a lot away from watching the season," she continued. "I can’t be everyone’s friend and I should have been more authoritative with the girls. I think unfortunately my lack of stern leadership allowed a toxic energy to filter throughout the boat."
It's onward and upward, though! As Daisy concluded, "Every year I learn something new and strive to become a better leader, manager, and crewmate."
What is Daisy Kelliher doing after Season 5?
These days, "I spend most of my time in London and travel in between," Daisy told The Daily Dish. "I am working on a few different projects and I am excited for the future!"
