Kathy Wakile Shared an Interesting Update on Her Relationship with Teresa Giudice

In case you were wondering if tensions have eased between Teresa Giudice and Kathy Wakile, well, it doesn't seem like it. Kathy recently offered an update on her relationship with her cousin in which she confirmed that they remain estranged.

“She made her position quite clear. I’ve made my position quite clear, that I’d try and, my life is very full, and so I’m not going to waste my time with trying to make something work that isn’t going to work," she told HollywoodLife about where things stand with Teresa today.

She shared a similar sentiment with The Daily Dish during a February 2018 interview.

It also means that she hasn't spoken to Joe Giudice, who is still waiting on what will happen next in connection with his ongoing immigration and deportation case.

Kathy noted, “My husband [Rich Wakile] has spoken to Joe a while back, but lately, no.”

Joe has been staying in "a facility in western Pennsylvania, which houses immigration detainees" since he was released from federal prison in March. The legal team for the The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband filed an opening brief as he appeals his deportation order last month. The 82-page brief was filed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit on July 15.

Teresa has been keeping busy raising their four daughters in his absence and recently opened up about the impact Joe's deportation would have on her and their four daughters if it were to become a reality in an exclusive video for Bravo Insider, which you can view, above.

As for how Kathy thinks her cousin is doing in Joe's absence, she said in her interview with HollywoodLife, “I really couldn’t speculate. It seems to me she’s doing… Seems to be doing fine. Whatever you see out there is what I see. I don’t check in. That chapter seems like it’s closed, and I’m doing other things. My children and my husband and my family keeps me pretty busy, so I keep concentrating on that.”
