This Is Where LeeAnne Locken and D'Andra Simmons' Friendship Stands After The Real Housewives of Dallas Reunion

The RHOD Season 3 reunion ended on an unexpected note.

By Laura Rosenfeld

When we first met D'Andra Simmons in Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Dallas, she was the best of friends with LeeAnne Locken. But cut to the Season 3 reunion, and the Lone Star ladies' friendship was incredibly strained after a season full of rumors and accusations. Honestly, we didn't know what the future would hold for LeeAnne and D'Andra's friendship by the end of the reunion.

How to Watch

Catch up on The Real Housewives of Dallas on Peacock or the Bravo App.

So Andy Cohen called in some reinforcements to help make sure LeeAnne and D'Andra got back on track. D'Andra's mother, Dee Simmons, who is affectionately known as Momma Dee, joined the RHOD squad on the couch at the end of the reunion to help the onetime BFFs move forward.

And Momma Dee definitely helped make some progress. D'Andra apologized to LeeAnne for bringing up rumors about her fiancé, Rich Emberlin, and LeeAnne apologized to D'Andra for talking about her finances. "I think there's hope for this," Momma Dee said during the reunion. "I think that what all of you girls need to realize, you can't change the beginning, but you can all start where you are today to change the ending."

Momma Dee even offered to help LeeAnne and D'Andra work on their relationship so that they can be best friends again. LeeAnne respectfully shared that she "genuinely would love to see a relationship coach, someone who is not attached at all who can form their own opinion," which D'Andra said she was "willing to do."

Though they may have begun the reunion at odds, LeeAnne and D'Andra appeared to be cordial by the end. "LeeAnne, I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings. I'm sorry that I poked at you, and I probably should have said things to you that were more private in a private conversation," D'Andra said. "And I apologize to you, because I didn't take your feelings into consideration as much as I should have."

LeeAnne also expressed how much she values her friendship with D'Andra. "I think the thing I miss most about not being friends with you is not being able to still help you see things differently because I think sometimes Dee does put pressure on you, you know that," LeeAnne explained at the end of the reunion. "Dee forces you to see things in a way that I don't think is always healthy for you, and I miss being able to protect you."

D'Andra continued to reflect on the future of her friendship with LeeAnne on Twitter as the RHOD Season 3 reunion concluded. "Looking back at this season, I would’ve handled my problems with LeeAnne differently.  I believe we all make mistakes and I own I messed up. We all have room for improvement, we are not perfect. I will never say never when I talk about my friendship with LeeAnne."

As for LeeAnne, when it comes to the possibility of rekindling her friendship with D'Andra, she agreed on Twitter, "We’ll see! Anything’s possible!"
