We Have an Update on Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval's Friendship

The Vanderpump Rules besties spilled some details about what they've been up to lately.

By Hannah Chambers

When the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic first hit back in March, Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval’s restaurant, among countless others, temporarily closed their doors for the safety of their employees and guests. During the November 22 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Vanderpump Rules dynamic duo shared an update on what life has looked like for them throughout the last several months.

How to Watch

“How did lockdown restrictions hit the Vanderpump Rules cast?” Andy asked. “Were you guys socially distant for even a day, the two of you?

“We regularly got COVID tests, but we work together, we’ve got a lot of stuff that we’ve been working on,” explained Sandoval. “We’ve actually kept ourselves pretty busy. Not things we can exactly talk about just yet…”

Schwartz, on the other hand, had a much less low-key answer about how much time the besties have been spending together lately. “We’ve been co-habitating,” he shared.

It sure sounds like Tom and Tom have found some creative ways to keep themselves entertained. On a recent episode of her podcast, You’re Gonna Love Me, Katie Maloney-Schwartz shared an example of what her husband and Sandoval have been up to.

“He’s doing a photo shoot for no reason,” Katie said of Schwartz. “Just him and Tom taking photos. I think it’s like, their, engagement shoot or something. His husband.”

“Shout out to everybody doing their best in this industry to adapt, to improvise and to overcome. So many places have closed down, even in the valley, that are apparently going to never open again,” said Schwartz. “It’s sad, but we remain optimistic and excited about the future.”
