Ariana Biermann is getting real about her “brutal” experience with filler injections.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta premiering March 9 on Bravo and streaming next day on Peacock.

The Don’t Be Tardy daughter shared her story in a January 28 TikTik video, in which she explained the recent decrease in her social media activity. Ariana told her followers she’s been trying to get rid of a “massive” bump that was a result of a 2024 chin filler injection — a treatment she admittedly received on a whim.

Ariana shares her experience with "chin shadow" filler

“So, I went to go get my lips done and my [injection specialist] was, like, ‘No. No more lips,’” Ariana recalled. “Whatever. Fine.”

Ariana, daughter of The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak, said she instead opted for a lip flip, which is when Botox is used to relax the mouth muscles and give the illusion of a fuller pout. Once that injection was completed, Ariana was urged to get a “chin shadow” — a filler injection that purportedly smooths out the lower face.

“She was like, ‘You need a chin shadow,’” she continued. “I was like, ‘A chin shadow? What the hell is a chin shadow? Let’s do it.’”

In the weeks following the treatment, however, Ariana started noticing severe bruising and an unsightly bump on one side of her chin.

“This is what the f-ck I looked like after it was healed,” she said while showing a picture of the discoloration. “I bruise really bad but this was two and a half weeks later. Do you see this?”

Ariana shares the side effects of her injections: "I had a massive spot"

Ariana said she decided to get the filler dissolved about two weeks later but wasn’t pleased with the results. She claimed the bruise lingered for about a month and a half before she made another attempt to reverse the treatment.

“So, I go in one more time and I get it dissolved,” she explained while showing another “after” photo. “This is still what my face looks like… This whole side of my face was literally just massive. So, I went in for another time and got it dissolved one more time, like, three days ago... I had a massive spot of filler that I could literally grab and the side of my jaw had a huge bump right here.”

Is Ariana giving up filler entirely?

Ariana said the hyaluronidase treatments successfully alleviated her problem but she vowed never to get fillers again... with one exception.

“It has been a brutal three months and every time I looked at myself, I’m like, ‘What is wrong? Something is so not f-cking right,’” she said before urging others to take caution. “Allow this to be your sign: Don’t do it. Don’t do it. I’m not doing it. My lips, I’m doing for the rest of my life so don’t be fooled. I will always forever get lip filler, but anything other than that? I’m uninterested.”

Ariana’s older sister, Brielle Biermann, has also warned others about the effects of too much filler. You can revisit her comments here
