The Daily Dish Below Deck

Captain Lee Rosbach and Ashton Pienaar Are Feuding Over a Photo and the Below Deck Family Can't Resist Weighing In

The battle for Stud of the Sea supremacy is on!

Are Captain Lee's Underpants the Breakout Star of Below Deck?

Unless you've been living under a rock this week, you know that everyone from your boss to your grandmother to celebrities have been sharing their FaceApp transformations. So of course, plenty of Bravolebs have also been posting selfies of their former and future selves.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Ashton Pienaar is no exception. The Below Deck yachtie decided to use the photo app to see what he would look like in his "later years," and if this is what Ashton has to look forward to down the road, he should be very excited for the future!

But we'd also like to point out that this pic of Ashton from FaceApp also looks very familiar. Doesn't he look like someone we know? We'll just give you a second...

Why, if we didn't know any better, we'd think that was a photo of Captain Lee Rosbach! Just look at the similarities.

On my way home.........again.

And we're not the only ones who think so. "Hey ⁦@capthlr⁩ everyone seems to think I could grow to be the next stud of the sea," Ashton tweeted at the Below Deck boss. "I know those are some big shoes to fill."

But Captain Lee isn't ready to hand over his Stud of the Sea title just yet. "@AshtonPienaar you may want to wait until I vacate them first [buddy]," he responded to the deckhand on Twitter. "I'm not tossing in the towel anytime soon so I hope you brought lunch, it may be a while."

Kate Chastain and Josiah Carter also agreed that there's only one Stud of the Sea.

After that bit of fun shade, Captain Lee noted that he was "just jerking your chain pal." He does have a habit of busting Ashton's chops, after all, as you can see in the Below Deck Season 6 After Show, above. He also said the photo was "amazing" in the comments to Ashton's Instagram post.

And, well, this Below Deck beef was over before it ever really began with Ashton tweeting at Captain Lee, "No problem Cap, happy to stick by your side and learn until then!"

Relive one of Ashton's studliest moments, below.
