Here's the Advice Austen Kroll's Sister Gave Him About the Taylor Ann Green and Olivia Flowers Drama
Plus, hear the latest on where Austen and Olivia stand.
Austen Kroll has been smack dab in the middle of drama involving Taylor Ann Green and Olivia Flowers throughout Southern Charm Season 9, but lucky for him, he was able to seek out some advice from a trusted confidant on December 20's Episode 14: his little sister, Katie.
The siblings had a long talk about the situation after Austen returned home from the Jamaica trip he went on with Taylor, Olivia, Shep Rose, Craig Conover, Madison LeCroy, Venita Aspen, Rod Razavi, and Jarrett "JT" Thomas.

Austen Kroll's Update on Olivia Flowers
Reflecting on the many confrontations that took place in Jamaica after a news report about Austen and Taylor's hookup came out, Austen told his sister, "Olivia just gets absolutely triggered by my presence."
"I know that I pissed her off and she's valid in her feelings and being angry, but then she calls me and talks to me and is sending me things on the internet," he continued. "Then at Shep's f-cking mountain house, [she] act[s] like I don't exist. Then she calls me on the way home and I think that we're good, and then I see her in Jamaica and she's yelling at me, telling me that I'm an awful person."
To add to Austen's confusion, Olivia apparently called him shortly after they returned from Jamaica to ask him to "go on a walk on the beach." Then there's what happened with the Oscars.
"The Oscars were right after the trip to Jamaica. Olivia and I were live texting the whole night, like, back and forth, back and forth, talking about everything," Austen explained. "And then we get back in front of our friends and she'll just bite my head off. And it's like, 'Wait a minute, I thought we were good?'"
Austen Kroll's Sister Katie Shares Advice About Olivia Flowers
With all that in mind, Katie first asked if this has "always" been the case with Olivia, or if her emotions have just been heightened following the tragic passing of her brother.
"Obviously emotions are flying high for lots of different reasons and for how things kind of went down," Austen replied, referencing his makeout with Taylor. "But at a certain point, I have paid my penance."
Kate's advice? "I think that you both just need to take time apart," she said. "I don't think that any progress is going to be made the more time you spend around each other, because she's gonna keep getting upset and you're gonna keep being like, 'Why are you yelling at me?'"
Austen, however, concluded, "I care about Olivia a lot, and she is someone that I don't think that I could ever completely close the book on."
