Ashling Lorger Explains How She Handled a Below Deck Charter Guest "Stepping Over the Line"
Francesca Rubi also reacts to hearing that her stew lied to the charter guest.
Season 8 of Below Deck has been filled with demanding and unruly charter guests, and the latest group was no exception.
During the Siegels' charter, which was featured in the February 1 and 8 episodes of Below Deck, Ashling Lorger was tasked with catering to the youngest guest, Daniel, while he stayed up much later than the rest of the group, along with his older brother, David.
After Ashling continually freshened up Daniel's drinks, the stew started to get concerned for the charter guest's safety and well-being after he hung out on the swim platform and briefly climbed into the tender, especially after one charter guest already ended up in the water at night earlier this season. So, Ashling decided that she needed to just get Daniel to go to bed, which included telling a little fib that the perfectly functioning hot tub was being drained after he got into his swim trunks to take a soak.
Daniel was clearly not happy with the stew's service that night, and he expressed that to some of his fellow charter guests the next morning, which Francesca Rubi overheard. The chief stew also shared her reaction to hearing about Ashling's lie to the charter guest in the Below Deck After Show clip exclusive to Bravo Insider, above, and it's way more complex than we thought.
Ashling also recalled in the Below Deck After Show that deckhand James Hough found Daniel "stepping over the line." "And I'm like, s--t, think quick, Ash," she said. Sign up to be a Bravo Insider, above, to hear Ashling open up more about how she handled this situation.
