Ellie Drops a Bombshell About Her Makeout With Joe: “I Didn't Have the Correct Information”

Elena "Ellie" Dubaich revealed that she didn't have a full understanding of the situation between Joe Bradley and Bri Muller.

Now that the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 love triangle has been sealed with two (!) kisses, it's time for Elena "Ellie" Dubaich, Joe Bradley, and Bri Muller to share their post-charter season thoughts on the situation.

During the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show, Ellie and Joe broke down their fated Episode 9 kiss that, unfortunately for Bri, took place with her in the same car. As part of the discussion, Ellie noted that she might've been a little bit wrong about the situation — if only because she didn't know how Joe had been acting with her fellow stew behind the scenes.

"I thought, 'Oh, she's throwing herself at Joe, he's not interested in her' ... but I didn't have the correct information," Ellie explained. "I wasn't aware how much Joe was leading her on."

According to Ellie, all the information she was getting from deckhands Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher painted a picture that Joe was attracted to her. As such, Ellie explained, "So, yes, if I had known that Joe was full on leading [Bri] on I would not have made out in front of her."

Does Joe regret kissing Ellie while in the same car as Bri? "I do know it could've hurt Bri, like I did have that in the back of my mind ... but I was kind of, like, blinded," he explained during the After Show.

Still, Joe didn't find himself completely to blame; he thought it would've been a different story had he told Bri he liked her. "I'm a free man," he said. "Even if the cards changed, if it was Bri in the back and Ellie in the front, it's just how it is. I would've done it regardless."

The two other people in that car? Bri and Chef Jono. "That was messy," the chef recounted. "That's like, not nice. Right? From both of them."

Bri did, however, confirm Joe's story that he told her he wanted to "hook up with everyone."

"He is just like, a smooth criminal," she added. "He's a boy. I know it shouldn't be an excuse, but he is a nice person. Shame."

Hindsight is 20/20, but how will the situation shake out live? Tune into Below Deck Mediterranean on Mondays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock to find out.
