When you've got the attention of a suave chef and a hot bosun, what's a girl to do? Well, that's exactly the dilemma that Malia White is facing this season of Below Deck Mediterranean as she finds herself having some flirty fun with both Adam Glick and Wes Walton.
This season's love triangle came to a head during Tuesday night's episode as Adam expressed that he felt a bit played by Malia, especially since the two had connected even before they had boarded the Sirocco (gasp!). And Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier was completely shocked to learn that fact. "SAY WHAT?!!! @chefadamglick and Malia had a relationship b4 the boat?!" she tweeted during the episode.
Malia ultimately called it quits with Adam and pledged to take a bit of a more neutral stance when it came to her crew mates. However, as this sneak peek of next Tuesday night's episode shows, it looks like neither Malia nor Wes are ready to give up on this romance.
Malia expressed some remorse over how she treated Adam and Wes in an Instagram post prior to the airing of Tuesday night's episode. "Sometimes a girl just can't make up her mind..." she wrote. "Note: I know I made mistakes playing with [hearts] forgive me- I'm only human."
Malia went on to apologize for her actions in another Instagram post after the episode. "I made mistakes aboard Sirocco. I said things in the moment I shouldn't have. I did things I regret doing. Just remember it's a reality tv show. How would your life look under a microscope?" she wrote in the caption to a photo showing her posing in some stocks at the fortress the crew visited in Croatia. "I won't ever pretend to be perfect. And usually... I'm my hardest critic. I've put my own head in the chopping block... all I can do is apologize to those I have hurt and accept the sentencing!"
The deckhand posted a similar sentiment on Instagram last week, praising both yachties in the process. "When everyone wants to know who you 'chose' whether you are team @chefadamglick or team @wesbelowdeck," she captioned a photo of herself in between Adam and Wes. "It was never my intention to play or hurt anyone. Both are great guys for different reasons! Green yachtie lesson learned!"
Adam explained why he seemed to fall so hard for Malia on Twitter during the episode. "I think any guy would fall head over heels for her," he tweeted.
Well, at least Lauren Cohen has Adam's back. "I feel so bad for @chefadamglick," she tweeted. "I think he had real feelings involved in this."
If Malia still needs help sorting out this boy drama, Captain Sandy Yawn put in her two cents on the situation. "From my observation, the energy between the crew, I think Wes and Malia would make a great couple," Captain Sandy recently told The Daily Dish. "However, I don't really know what Malia feels. It's up to her."
