You Won’t Believe What Happens When Gary King Finally (!!) Asks Daisy Kelliher on a Date
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew members opened up about their flirty season and revealed what the future holds.
Gary King may have locked lips with nearly every female crew member during this season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, but all eyes were on him and Daisy Kelliher during the crew’s last night of the season (clip above). Parsifal III was abuzz over whether or not the yachties would hook up following their steamy hot tub makeout session early on in Season 3.
Gary and Daisy ultimately didn’t hook up on that last night, as we saw in the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 finale, which aired on June 20. But for everyone shipping #Gaisy, don’t lose hope. The yachties just had a very intriguing conversation about their future during the latest “Pita Party” video chat, released on Instagram on June 20, with Alli Dore, who, along with Sydney Zaruba, was in a love triangle with Gary in Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
After Gary confirmed he is still single and “still looking for love,” Daisy said it was “really cringe” for her to watch the Season 3 finale, although she felt better after she heard that “Gary was proper following me around all night” in the hopes of hooking up with her.
Alli asked Gary if he thought he and Daisy would ever hook up. “We’ll have to wait and see, eh?” he said. “Who knows?”
Gary also addressed whether or not he has real feelings for Daisy. “I think there’s something there between Daisy and I, for sure. The more I spend time with Daisy and the more I get to know her, the more I like her,” he shared. “We’ve never really actually spent some quality time together. A little bit here and there, but it hasn’t been for, like, a week, you know? Doing a TV show’s a bit different. You’ve got cameras around all the time, you’ve got other people there, so I find that’s different.”
Gary then finally asked Daisy the question we’ve all been waiting for: “But maybe we should plan a little trip away, Dais, and see what happens?”
“Daisy, that’s a date trip,” Alli said, and Gary confirmed, “That is a date trip. Make or break us, right over there. Somewhere close, though, so if we don’t have a good time we can just fly home [laughs].”
Gary and Alli anxiously awaited Daisy’s response to the first mate’s suggestion, only to realize that the chief stew’s screen had frozen. “I have this effect, eh?” Gary joked. “She’s stunned.”
When Daisy finally returned, she explained why things between her and Gary may never go beyond just flirting. “The first thing, most importantly, Gary loves the chase,” she said. “I think if I was ever to give in, he would become very bored very, very quickly.”
Gary responded by saying that he’s “not the type of person that gets bored very easily,” but Daisy and Alli both disagreed. Daisy added that Gary seems to “have feelings for everyone.”
“Like, how I am supposed to possibly take that seriously?” she asked the first mate.
Though it may seem that way on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, where Gary has kissed multiple women, he said “that’s not entirely true.” Plus, Gary noted, he has a certain spark with Daisy. “I think we do get along well, and there’s definitely chemistry there,” Gary said. “I’m not going to deny that.”
“OK, well, let’s go on holiday together and see what happens,” Daisy responded, before clarifying, “No, I’m joking.”
However, Daisy did agree with Gary that it’s hard to get to know each other during the charter season on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. The only time they really had a chance to be alone together was when they went to Disneyland during a visit to Los Angeles in February, and both said they had a nice time.
As the “Pita Party” chat came to a close, Daisy had one last thing to say on the matter of her and Gary. “We are not gonna be dating anytime soon,” she said. “But who knows what will happen in the future?”
