Gary King Returns to Parsifal III After a Wild Crew Night Out
Plus, find out how Gary reacted when he found out Daisy and Alex made out in the hot tub.
He's back! After missing the start of the charter season because he tested positive for COVID, Below Deck Sailing Yacht First Mate Gary King finally arrived to Parsifal III on the April 24 episode.
"Hey Cap! Guess who's back? I'm out of quarantine. I'll be there in 5 min!" Gary texted Captain Glenn Shephard at the beginning of the episode.
Gary's best pal, Colin MacRae, admitted that he was "hugely relieved" that the deck team leader was back, especially after the boat ran into an engine issue on the premiere. "We desperately need him on deck right now."
The South Africa native made it back to the sailing vessel just in time for Charter #2, but he happened to arrive the morning after the rest of the crew had their first big night out. The aforementioned post-charter celebration, which Gary himself said seemed like a "wild night," included a steamy game of Truth or Dare in the hot tub. The game resulted in a few make-outs, including one between Daisy Kelliher and Alex Propson.
In case you need a refresher, Gary and Daisy did not get along during their first season aboard Parsifal III, but they themselves engaged in a hot tub kiss of their own on Season 3. Now, as Gary has returned to the boat for Season 4, he hoped that the two could potentially rekindle their past connection.
"It's really good to see Daisy again. We've bumped heads, we've touched tongues. Hopefully this season, we can pick up where we left off," Gary said on the episode.
With his sights set on Daisy, how exactly did Gary react when he found out that Alex had made out with her the night before?
"S--t, this guy's got game," Gary said in an interview on the episode when Alex said that Daisy was the best kisser during Truth or Dare.
"Clearly I could learn a thing or two," he added. "F--k, it took me two-and-a-half years to kiss Daisy. Good for him."
Though it seems like Alex, Daisy, and Gary could be entering into a love triangle, the Season 4 trailer revealed that the chief stew will make out with Colin later on in the season.
“You know you like me, deep down, and I feel like you’re hooking up to get back at me,” Gary tells Daisy in the trailer after she's seen kissing Colin, which you can watch below. “Spitefully hooking up.”
