Aesha Scott Gives an Update on Her Dating Life and Where She Stands with Jack Stirrup

The Below Deck Down Under yachtie teased some big relationship news.

By Allison Crist

UPDATED (July 25, 1:54 P.M.): Aesha Scott opened up about her current relationship, and she dished on her past connection with Below Deck Mediterranean alum Jack Stirrup when she appeared on the July 24 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck Down Under on Peacock and the Bravo app.

She revealed that she stayed friends with Jack after he flew to France to apologize to her for their messy breakup.

"We kind of carried on our friendship after that, because, at the end of the day, we did get on really, really well," Aesha said, though she later confirmed that the two aren't really in communication today. "But then when I started seeing Scott, I cut that off because I thought it was respectful to my new relationship, even though it was just friendship."

Aesha went on to share that she is still happily in a relationship with Scott "Scotty" Dobson today.

"Absolutely, I love that man," she said when asked if the two are still together. "It's been over three years now!

Aesha Scott has been a cast member on not one, but two Below Deck shows — and now she's taking on another franchise staple: Galley Talk.

The yachtie has quite the exciting life off-screen, too — especially when it comes to her dating life. Read on to hear Aesha spill on her past and present relationships as part of an exclusive conversation with The Daily Dish.

Aesha and Jack

Season 4 of Below Deck Mediterranean saw Aesha and deckhand Jack Sitrrup strike up a boatmance, but the relationship didn't last that long once they returned to dry land. Why? As Aesha revealed on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen last July, Jack had apparently been unfaithful

As for where they stand today, they're "totally fine," Aesha told The Daily Dish. "He did end up coming to France to apologize to me and, you know, we just always got on so well, I didn't see the point in having any sort of negative energy in my life, so I didn't see the point in holding it against him forever and ever. I left it there [and] I forgave him."

Aesha and Scott

Not long after that, the Below Deck Down Under chief stew started dating her current boyfriend, Scott Dobson. They became Instagram official in July 2020, and Aesha said they're still going strong today. "I'm so in love with him," she said. "We're coming up on three years now and I just still adore every single part of him. So, I feel very lucky."

Their Current Life Together

Another reason Aesha feels "really lucky" is because of how much she and Scott have gotten to travel together. "We went to Ecuador for a couple of weeks, which was cool," she recalled, "and then I went back to New Zealand and Scott actually came a month early and surprised me for my birthday."

Since then, the couple has remained in New Zealand, where they're currently "enjoying summer and spending time with friends and family."

Their Future Together

Things with Scott are going so well, in fact, that he and Aesha "talk about marriage all the time." That, "and what we'd want our wedding to be like, kids, and all of that," she said. "There's definitely a future there."

Engagement Plans

However, should Scott decide to propose, Aesha said she doesn't want to know about it until the time comes for him to pop the question. "I've given him very strict instructions that I do not want any hint of when an engagement would be or what it's gonna be like, 'cause I love surprises," she explained. "I think he definitely feels a bit of pressure because I'm really good at figuring out surprises by accident, not because I want to."

As a result, Aesha is trying her hardest not to think about a potential engagement. Added the yachtie, "I don't wanna ruin it for myself!"
