Anastasia Surmava Uses Ben Robinson's Own Words to Respond to His Criticism of the Stews
The Below Deck Mediterranean stew has a cheeky message for the chef.
Ben Robinson is not feeling the love.
The Below Deck Mediterranean chef hasn't been a fan of how well the interior crew has been getting along this season, feeling that chief stew Hannah Ferrier's friendship with Aesha Scott and Anastasia Surmava has impacted her ability to lead the team.
Well, Anastasia has something to say about that. The third stew took to Instagram in advance of Monday night's episode of Below Deck Med to poke a little fun at Ben's criticism of their camaraderie, turning his own description of the interior team back at him. "Can you feel the love tonight? You best believe the girls do.... SO MUCH LOVEY DOVEY LOVE you could almost throw up. But for real.. I love you ladies... and you too Colin [Macy-O'Toole]," Anastasia wrote in a post that featured a collection of photos of the yachties during service for the charter guests' Great Gatsby-themed dinner in the episode. "SENDING LOVE TO YOU ALLLLLLL."
Ben had a lot more to say about Hannah's leadership style in the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4 After Show, which you can view, above. "The problem is is we need a boss. We need a big picture boss. I feel like she's great in the trenches, and she's great at the grunt work, but at the same time, we lose. That labor detracts her from thinking, 'Where are we going with this? What's gonna happen?'" he said.
"You know, a boss should not work as hard as the other employees because he's making decisions or she's making decisions. They should be more rested, a boss should be better rested than everyone else because one day, there's gonna be a decision, and she's gonna have to make that decision. It could be a very important decision. So if she's fatigued, it doesn't work. I know it sounds weird, but it's kind of the way it is in yachting," he concluded.
It looks like Captain Sandy Yawn will have a few more things to say about Hannah's performance this season in the Below Deck Med Season 4 finale Monday at 9/8c. Check out a sneak peek, below.
