Bethenny Frankel Fires Back at Weight Critics

"I feel like, ‘Who cares?’ They are always going to say something!"

By Sarv Kreindler

Bethenny Frankel was on the Meredith Viera Show Tuesday and in between her good-natured banter with her friend (who called her out for lying to her initially about her RHONY comeback), the two addressed the recent hoopla about Bethenny's weight.

After photos surfaced of Bethenny in a bikini while on vacation in Miami, some critics fired back at the Skinnygirl mogul for being too thin. "I was sick over the holidays," she reveals to Viera before going on to defend her small frame.

"Do I look bad? Do I look like I need to eat a burger?" she asks. "I feel like, ‘Who cares?’ They are always going to say something. I do have a brand called Skinnygirl, so I am going to get beaten up for it. It would be bad if I were overweight and had a brand called Skinnygirl," she jokes with her signature sarcastic humor.

This isn't the first time Bethenny has gotten people talking about her weight. Last year, she got flack—including from RHOC's Tamra Judge—for posting a photo of herself wearing her four-year-old daughter's pajamas. "If you do fit into your 4-year-old's clothes, don't talk about it! Just go eat!" Tamra said at the time. For her part, Bethenny took the criticism in stride, joking, "My daughter still has some shirts from when she was 2. I hope she isn't sending the wrong message to toddlers."

This is my daughter's nightgown and PJ shorts. Think we're ready to start sharing clothes yet?
