Bethenny Frankel's Front Row Seat for Chris Brown's GMA Meltdown

"He was a little skittish," B says about the singer's behavior that morning.

By Lauren Metz

Leave it to Bethenny Frankel to be in the thick of some drama... but this time it wasn't her own.

B's promotional tour for her new book, A Place of Yes, brought her to Good Morning America the same day that Chris Brown decided to do a bit of remodeling. Talking to Access Hollywood, the Bethenny Ever After star says, "He had an entourage that was like Noah's Ark and I'm not kidding. And I had a non-tourage. I had like, no one with me and he had this huge entourage."

How huge? "50 people!" the Bethenny Ever After star describes -- and Chris' posse didn't show up in your momma's SUV. "Caravanned Maybachs," Bethenny says. "I've never seen anything like it. That's where all that money gets wasted – it's so stupid. You need two SUVs and a Maybach? It's like, stop. STOP."

Chris' glam entrance wasn't the only thing amped that morning. "He was definitely skittish," Bryn's mama says. "He was a little skittish, I will say that. But he was singing really well."

Although the 40-year-old missed the singer ripping his shirt out of anger over questions relating to his 2009 assault of ex Rihanna, her driver caught a glimpse at Chris' Hulk Hogan impersonation. "The driver that had taken me there saw them replace the windows and saw [Chris] come running out with his shirt off. It was like, 'Why couldn't I have been there?'"
