Bevy Smith Weighs In on Kim Kardashian's 'Paper' Cover

Right or ratchet? The 'Fashion Queens' host sounds off.

Leave it to Kim Kardashian to make a splash when it comes to doing photo shoots for magazine covers. Her latest feat? A risqué picture for Paper magazine, in which Kanye West's boo is showing off her most talked-about asset: her behind. The accompanying cover line for the Winter 2014 edition reads: "Break the Internet Kim Kardashian."

Naturally, we wondered what Fashion Queens host Bevy Smith had to say about the editorial, which was shot by Jean-Paul Goude, who just so happens to be paying homage to another one of his own classic photos.

"The cover pays homage to a legendary Jean-Paul Goude photo—it's the height of 'camp' that Jean-Paul Goude is actually 'knocking' himself off," Bevy tells the Dish. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and narcissism!"

As for Kim Kardashian herself, Bevy says, "She looks greasy and in some circles that's considered hot. This isn't the most outrageous look I've seen her in. Dig up some of her old looks from the early 2000s: lots of shiny fabric, that's pretty outrageous! #IsThatARead? YES IT IS!"
