Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' 2-Year-Old Daughter Has a Cameo on Taylor Swift's New Album
James Reynolds might have a platinum hit in her future.
Taylor Swift's Reputation has (finally!) arrived, and fans are already hooked on singles the singer dropped like catchy breadcrumbs in the months leading up to the album's release. One of the addictive tracks in particular, "Gorgeous," has been the subject of lots of speculation, provoking questions such as, is the song about her ex Calvin Harris? Does it actually reference her rumored current beau, Joe Alwyn? While Swift typically stays mum on whom her songs are about, she did reveal one secret from "Gorgeous": James Reynolds, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' two-year-old daughter, has a cameo on the hot track.
The beginning of "Gorgeous" features a young child's voice exclaiming the track's title. Fans speculated about this aspect of the song as well, but their questions were put to rest when they caught wind of this credit in Reputation's album booklet. "Baby voice intro by James Reynolds," the note reads.
Some fans already had this hot toddler gossip: Swift held "secret sessions" for select fans leading up to the album's release and spoiled them with some top-secret info about Reputation.
And some truly devoted fans had already guessed that James lent her angelic pipes to the track. Check out this fan tweet from October 19:
But for the masses, the album booklet delivered a long-awaited answer. We can all rest easy, knowing that the truth has been revealed!
Swift has been friends with Reynolds and Lively for years. The couple even lived the ultimate #squad life in 2016, when they hit one Swift's famous 4th of July bashes. We wouldn't be surprised to see them — and James — at concerts and album-release parties to come. And might we add: nice work on the vocal stylings, James!
