Vanderpump Rules, Top Chef & MDLLA Just Won Some Trophies at a Major Awards Show (UPDATED)
Bravo won a number of awards at the Critics Choice Real TV Awards with Lisa Vanderpump taking home a special honor.
UDATED (June 16, 12:10 P.M.): All the Mazels for Bravo! On June 15, the winners in the fifth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards were announced and Bravo went home with some trophies.
Vanderpump Rules took home the prize for Best Unscripted Series. Meanwhile, Lisa Vanderpump was honored with the Impact Award this year. Top Chef won for Best Culinary Show and Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi also won for Best Show Host. Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles won for Best Lifestyle Show: Home/Garden. Bravo is feeling the awards show love. On Monday, May 15, the Critics Choice Association revealed the nominations for the fifth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards.
Several Bravo shows from across the network landed Critics Choice Real TV Awards nods. Vanderpump Rules and Below Deck Sailing Yacht are nominated for Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series as well as Best Unstructured Series. Bravo’s Top Chef also made the cut, getting a nod for Best Culinary Show. But that’s not all! Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi is up for a few awards, including Best Show Host and Star of the Year. And ICYMI, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles is nominated for Best Lifestyle Show: Home/Garden.
According to a press release, the winners of the Critics Choice Real TV Awards, “which recognize excellence in nonfiction, unscripted, and reality programming across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms,” will be announced in just a few weeks on June 15. It has certainly been a busy time for Bravo fans, to say the least. The nominations come just days after it was revealed that several Bravo shows will be back for new seasons in the future.
Last week, it was announced that Vanderpump Rules is returning. It was also confirmed that Bravo’s slate of returning “can’t miss” hits includes all-new seasons of The Real Housewives of New York City, Top Chef, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, The Real Housewives of Potomac, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Southern Hospitality, The Real Housewives of Miami, The Real Housewives of Dubai, Below Deck, Southern Charm, Below Deck Mediterranean, Winter House, Below Deck Down Under, and Married to Medicine.
The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 and Below Deck Down Under Season 2 will premiere on Bravo before streaming the next day on Peacock.
This November, BravoCon 2023 heads to Las Vegas. At NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation on May 15, Ariana Madix was on hand to tease the exciting event. “It will be a weekend of epic events, jaw-dropping revelations, and unfiltered moments. Our favorite kind!” she shared with the crowd.
