Bravo Scores 3 Emmy Nominations
Congrats to #TopChef, #ActorsStudio, and #MDLNY on their nominations. (Cue a Fredrik Eklund high-kick.)
On Thursday (July 16), the nominations for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced and Bravo scored three nods!
The Emmy-winning Top Chef is once again up for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program. This year its competition includes The Voice, Project Runway, The Amazing Race, Dancing With The Stars, and So You Think You Can Dance.
Previously nominated Million Dollar Listing New York received a nod for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program. Its competition includes Deadliest Catch, Alaska: The Last Frontier, Intervention, Naked And Afraid, and Wahlburgers.
Emmy-winning Inside The Actors Studio is nominated for Outstanding Informational Series or Special. The James Lipton-hosted program will face off against Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways as well as StarTalk With Neil deGrasse Tyson and Vice.
If you're wondering how Bravolebs are feeling right now, they are pretty amped about all the Emmy love. “This 18th Emmy nomination is an honor that renders me unable to express my gratitude to the voters of the Television Academy," Inside the Actor's Studio host James Lipton told the Daily Dish in a statement. "Always a pleasure getting nominated, especially alongside so many other great shows," added Top Chef's Tom Colicchio. The MDLNY agents also shared their reaction to their show's nomination. “When I heard of our second Emmy-nomination I high-kicked so high my pants exploded," Fredrik Eklund shared in a statement to the Daily Dish, with Ryan Serhant adding, "WOW!!!! I couldn't be happier and more excited!!!!”
Luis D. Ortiz headed to Facebook with his reaction.
Andy Cohen is also excited for all three of the Emmy-nominated shows.
The Emmy Awards air September 20 on FOX, which means you have about two months to catch up on A LOT of TV.
