It's that time of the (new) year when you're looking for a little inspiration to help you to be a better person — physically and emotionally. And now that 2017 is officially upon us, you might need a few reminders that, yes, anyone can change for the better. 1. Tamra Judge

The Real Housewives of Orange County mom decided that she wanted to take on the world of competitive bodybuilding — and in 2016 she did just that.
Tamra transformed her already fit body into an even fitter version of herself and slayed the competition in the process, thanks to an intense workout routine and a strict diet crafted by her trainer and spiritual advisor, Mia Finnegan.
2. Luis D. Ortiz
When the Million Dollar Listing New York agent no longer felt the love for closing deals, he walked away from the business. After some soul searching, Luis has a new project to be excited about. He's gone from a real estate wheeler and dealer to a life guru after launching his website, Happy Holic, back in November.
3. Albie Manzo
Albie's abs went through quite a transformation.
Albie was so inspired by his own journey, he laucnhed a new meal delivery service, Core Rhythm Fitness Meals, back in October. Now you, too, can be as fit as the Garden State son.
4. Yolanda Hadid
The outspoken Lyme disease advocate has never been shy about her battle with the disease. And all her work has certainly paid off. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has never looked better after revealing she's in remission in November.
5. Kristen Doute
The Vanderpump Rules pal has been known as a woman who likes to have fun (and sometimes finds herself into a little bit of trouble). But, Kristen is proving that there's more her than all the drama by launching her lifestyle site, Vegihiolic. In addition to mouth-watering recipes, the platform gives her a mouthpiece to open up about social issues she feels strongly about.
6. Scheana Shay
Scheana shows off the gym routine that helped tone her body.
The SURver has always been fit, but in 2016 she upped her gym game and got herself on a healthy meal plan. Her fierce dedication to the gym and nutrition was met with some online speculation, but in the end, she proved that you can shake it off with a little cardio.
7. Cynthia Bailey
The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom has always had an independent streak, but she decided to put her happiness first when she announced her plans to divorce husband Peter Thomas after six years of marriage. Plus she even embraced a more serene life on a lake (Lake Bailey, that is). It's a move that could inspire all of us to follow whatever is in our hearts.
8. Jeff Lewis
The Flipping Out designer has always been known as a guy who can, well, flip out if things don't go as planned, but he's been showing off his softer side lately since becoming a dad to daughter Monroe in October.
9. Stassi Schroeder
The Vanderpump Rules pal has reinvented herself as a podcast host. And when the single life came calling earlier this year, she decided to throw caution to the wind and embrace a new philosophy, in which she would say "yes" to any and all opportunities that came her way. Now that sounds like an inspiration for us to try some new things.
10. Porsha Williams
The RHOA radio host has been getting help for her anger management issues this year, and is now looking to make even more changes by considering motherhood. Stay tuned to find out if 2017 is the year Porsha becomes a mommy.
11. Meghan King Edmonds
The RHOC mama shed a whopping 25 pounds less than one month after giving birth to her daughter, Aspen King Edmonds, thanks to all that breastfeeding. Clearly motherhood looks good on Meghan.
12. Kandi Burruss
Kandi flaunts her toned post-baby body.
The RHOA singer welcomed Ace Wells Tucker in January 2016, and by March, she had shed so much weight she actually weighed less than she did before she before she gave birth.
Kandi said she had breastfeeding to thank for the transformation, as well as her annual "prayer fast." Now that's something we can all try — with or without a baby.
