Brynn Whitfield Reveals How She Really Felt After That RHONY Finale: “Battle Royale” (EXCLUSIVE)

Plus, Jessel Taank shares how she feels about her role in sparking the explosive fight between Brynn Whitfield and Ubah Hassan in the Season 15 finale of The Real Housewives of New York City.

Andy Cohen called the Season 15 finale of The Real Housewives of New York City “very dark” and “very surprising” — and now that the dust has settled, the ‘Wives admit they’re still reeling from the trip to Puerto Rico.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on Bravo.

In fact, Racquel Chevrement said none of them walked away from the trip, but rather “crawled away,” in a Bravo HQ exclusive video.

As expected, Ubah Hassan and Brynn Whitfield are in the “hot seats” next to Andy in the Season 15 reunion seating chart in order to hash out what happened.

“I feel like everything is basically Anguilla 2.0,” Brynn said, referencing Ubah’s conflict with Erin Lichy on the Season 14 cast trip to Anguilla. “Except now, it’s like the battle royale is between Ubah and I. It’s like same thing: Hot Tub Time Machine From Hell.”

How does Jessel Taank feel about her role in Brynn and Ubah's fight?

In the Season 15 finale, Jessel Taank allegedly told Ubah off-camera what Brynn was saying about her, leading all of the ‘Wives to get caught in the middle of what was happening between Ubah and Brynn.

“You know, there’s a part of me that felt like I did the right thing, but then there’s also a part of me that’s like, ‘F---, I just lit this s--- on fire,’” Jessel told Bravo HQ. “I do think I did the right thing. I’m not questioning what I ended up doing.”

Jessel admitted the ongoing tension between Brynn and Ubah had been affecting the ‘Wives all season.

“We have been sandwiched between this Brynn and Ubah argument, and I just wanted — for me, the whole time — I just wanted to diffuse the situation,” Jessel explained of her actions during the finale. “So I think that’s what I was trying to achieve. Just to diffuse the situation.”

But she clarified her intent didn’t pan out, adding, “This is why I don’t get involved. You see what happens.”

Do the RHONY women think they'll be able to move forward after the Season 15 finale?

Season 15 newcomer Racquel Chevremont believes there’s blame to share on both sides of the fight, but added the reunion could help.

“I would hope that there would be some insight,” she said. “I think the initial issues that led to the complete breakdown — Ubah, there were certain things that Ubah did to contribute. But then, Brynn took it a little too far.”

Erin said she spent the flight home processing what happened in Puerto Rico.

“I was replaying my relationships for the past couple of years,” she told Bravo HQ. “And like maybe something from the past meant something. It just really changed my view on a lot of things.”

Rebecca Minkoff, who joined Season 15 as a friend, isn’t sure there is a path forward.

“I think there’s some things that don’t feel recoverable,” she said.

Ubah was also unsure if she’d be able to move forward following the trip, although she notes she likes to forgive.

“I don’t know what the future holds,” she said. “But I can tell you, looking at the past, it has been very difficult.”

Erin hopes one thing happens at the reunion: accountability.

“I think what would end everything and I think would be sort of like a rebirth in our group, is if everybody took ownership for what they did wrong,” she said. “I just don’t know that that’s going to happen. But if it did, I think there’s a real opportunity for us to move forward as a group.”

Find out the fallout from the Puerto Rico trip when the Season 15 reunion of The Real Housewives of New York City airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo and the next day on Peacock.
