Rita Ora Weighs In On Calvin Harris' Infamous Anti-Taylor Swift Twitter Rant
The singer/actress reflected on her past romances and dramas during #WWHL.
As you might recall, Calvin Harris put Taylor Swift on blast last year following their break-up. As the story goes, he headed to socal media to vent — in part about their break-up and Taylor's rumored feud with Katy Perry, but mostly about the fact that her team confirmed their once-secret collaboration on the song "This Is What You Came For." It was epic, to say the least. When Calvin's other ex, Rita Ora, sat down on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday, she revealed her thoughts on the whole drama.
"Can we not go there right now? Are we really doing this? Is this bring Rita's whole past to the TV?" she shared on the show, during which Andy Cohen hinted that Calvin was there with her the last time she appeared in the Clubhouse. In case anyone is wondering, she and Calvin are totally cool with each other despite having some of their own drama in the past. "We're good friends. The thing [is] I don't keep grudges with anybody. Everybody uses social media how they want. I chose not to, so that's just my personal way to express myself, but everyone does their own thing."
When asked if it's weird to see her exes out and about with other ladies in magazines (like when Calvin and Taylor were cozy), she had this rather cool response: "Well I don't really read magazines anymore all that much," she said. "But to be honest, I think, it's kind of like obviously a usual break-up you don't really see your ex all over the place. But you just kind of take it with a pinch of salt and keep going with your own life and make the most of what you are."
Speaking of guys Taylor has been linked to (well in this case, professionally), one fan wanted to know if Rita's ever dated Gigi Hadid's current main squeeze, Zayn Malik. Her response was less an actual answer this time around. "You know what? I feel like I'm on the roasted [show], like I'm getting complete roasted right now for no reason," she said, before looking to The Bachelor star Nick Viall for some assistance. "Help me! He's had four seasons of finding love [on TV] and I'm getting scrutinized... no way is this happening!"
Well, there you have it.
