Camille Grammer Reflects On Her Naked Frasier Cameo: "I Look Like Some Furry Monster, Instead of Eve"
The actress/TV personality also remembered the late John Mahoney.
Back in 1997, Camille Grammer stopped by Frasier in one of the beloved sitcom's most memorable episodes. It was a classic Frasier situation: a fancy-schmancy party hosted by one of the Crane brothers that's filled with misunderstandings and mix-ups — and in this case ended up with someone learning she's pregnant. It also included Camille rocking a nude catsuit, lots of hair ... and not much else.
"I played Eve. I had a lot more hair — I had a ton of hair on me. I needed higher shoes. The cast of Frasier is tall; and Peri Gilpin and Jane Leeves are so tall and they had me in these low shoes. And these girls had spike boots on, and I'm like 'Darn, costume/wardrobe girls, put me in some heels,'" The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal recalled to The Daily Dish. "And I had a lot of hair. I look like some furry monster, instead of Eve."

The cast of Frasier, aliong with Camille
Well, actually, if you ask us, she did look kind of fierce, hair and all. And she definitely looks back fondly on the experience. "But it was fun," she said. "It was an excellent episode. I love the cast of that show."
Camille then went on to remember John Mahoney, who played Martin Crane during the show's 11 seasons, and passed away on Sunday (February 4) at the age of 77. "I was really sad to just find out recently that John Mahoney had passed away and I know John through the show and dealing with him on a personal level and with my ex-husband [Kelsey Grammer] on a professional level," she said. "And he was an amazing person; what a talent, what a loss to the theater community, TV, film. And he did crossover. He was so talented and it really is such a loss — and what a lovely man. So I was really saddened by the news. And, rest in peace John."
Kelsey appeared on The Talk on Wednesday and tearfully recalled his relationship with his TV dad. “John actually played my father longer than I knew my own father, so he was more like my dad,” he said. “I had the same relationship with David Hyde Pierce as my brother, because I didn’t really have a brother, either. So it was an interesting thing that we got to explore what it would heave been like to have those relationships. I miss him.”
