How to Watch

On Part 2 of the Summer House Season 8 reunion, which aired on June 13, Carl shared the big news as the group discussed his past disagreements with Lindsay Hubbard.

Carl had brought the idea of a sober sports bar to Lindsay during Season 8, Episode 3, explaining, "I'm proud to be a voice for things that I've been through and hopefully help other people. So I've been thinking about a sports bar, non-alcoholic. A sober sports bar."

Lindsay wasn't thrilled by the idea, telling her then-fiancé, "I don't know about brick and mortar."

"Sorry, I'm gonna have to say no to that one," she continued. "Working in the hospitality industry my entire life, representing every single lounge, bar, club, hotel, restaurant ... I don't want that for our future family."

On the reunion episode, Carl reflected on that conversation.

Is Carl Radke opening a sober bar?

"The sports bar idea, sure, it was kind of off-the-cuff, but look at my lifestyle," he said. "I do not want to ever drink alcohol ever again in my life. I want to lean into non-alcoholic stuff, whether it's opening a cafe or sports bar, which, by the way, I'm about to."

He added, "I've got a team together, we've raised some money, and we're actually going to open something here in New York."

When host Andy Cohen asked for clarification, Carl explained the venue will be "a cafe and bar that only serves non-alcoholic drinks."

"It feels like my calling," he said. "It's finally looking at me, and I want to go pursue that."

What does Carl Radke do for a living?

In addition to his forthcoming café and non-alcoholic bar, Carl is employed on a part-time basis at Loverboy focusing on its non-alcoholic product. As discussed on Season 8, Episode 10, and Part 2 of the reunion, Carl also works as an influencer.

Of course, he also makes a living appearing on Summer House. During the reunion, as the group discussed Carl and Lindsay's disagreements over career and income, Andy said, "You also, by the way — to break the fourth wall — were both making, I'm assuming, the same amount appearing on this show."
