As you may recall, the earlier part of this season of The Real Housewives of New York City included Carole Radziwill speaking quite openly about the 2016 presidential election and her support of Hillary Clinton. She was equally candid about her disappointment over Clinton losing the election to Donald Trump. Still, that criticism doesn't seem to have soured the (fictional) president's love for all things Real Housewives, as he shared on Thursday's The President Show.
In addition to both him and (a fictional) Mike Pence revealing their taglines ("I'm not a president, but I play one on TV" and "Sassy taglines are for show-offs. My name is Mike," respectively) and referencing iconic RHONY moments, Carole appeared on the episode. She sat down with the small-screen version of the POTUS for a debate.
The "sit-down" took place inside "Mar-a-lago" with the president grilling Carole about being a Real Housewife. He wanted to know about being around all the "infighting and dysfunction," which Housewife he resembles the most ("a composite of three": Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Luann D'Agostino), and he confessed to being "All over RHONY" and watches it week after week with some treats.
By the way, Mario Cantone also appeared on the episode playing White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci.
