Andy Cohen and more Bravo stars are also helping those affected by the natural disaster.
Bethenny Frankel, Kandi Burruss and Andy Cohen are among the Bravo stars stepping up to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey in the wake of the destruction left by the natural disaster, which has affected citizens in Houston and the Gulf Coast, as well as San Antonio, according to Entertainment Weekly. The storm was initially a Category 4 hurricane when it first made landfall and has since been downgraded to a Tropical Storm. USA Today reports that the storm will continue to affect the area through mid-week.
Bethenny has pledged $30,000 through her B Strong Charity to help women who have been affected by the storm, she revealed on Twitter.
Tinsley Mortimer has since pledged money to Bethenny's charity.
Kandi pledged $10,000 to a fund started by Kevin Hart, which "enables the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to and help people recover from this disaster," according to an official statement. Kandi added on Instagram, "Let's not just pray for Houston but actually do something & donate. No matter how much it may be, all donations help. My heart goes out to Houston!"
Andy shared on Twitter that he has given to several charities to help people and animals affected by the storm, and noted to his followers that "plenty of local charities need our support!"
Heather Dubrow noted that she was doing her part by "sending prayers and money to Texas."
Other Bravo stars, past and present, sent their support on social media.
The storm has been extra personal for Kenya Moore who has family and friends who live in Houston, she shared on Instagram: "My dad, brother and sister, nieces, and many friends all live in Houston. They are ok but praying for all the families affected by the storms. #prayforTexas."
