When troubled TV star Charlie Sheen found himself overcome with stomach pain Thursday morning, he reached out for some neighborly help... from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof.
"We did receive a call from Charlie's house this morning, asking for medical assistance and advice, and immediately insisted the caller dial 911," Adrienne and husband Dr. Paul Nassif told People magazine. "Dr. Nassif also immediately called 911," they added.
The actor was then taken to L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where TMZ reports he was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia. Sheen's condition isn't considered life-threatening, with a source telling Extra that Sheen told him, "I'm not dying."
Still, Charlie's neighbors are sending their best wishes to the Two and a Half Men star. "As longtime friends, we are obviously very concerned about his well-being," Adrienne and Paul said of their neighbor in their statement. "Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family right now and we wish him a speedy recovery."
