"I think I’m probably most excited to share my Chinese culture and background and traditions," she said at the time. "And, my husband’s Jewish, and so our kids are [Chinese and Jewish], and that’s equally important. They have such a beautiful culture that should also be shared in a bigger way. So, I’m excited for people to see what kind of a mixed family looks like. I’m excited for that."

Since then, Crystal shared with fans and the RHOBH cast a true Chinese New Year experience during the event she hosted in the Season 11 finale, which aired on October 6. She opened up more about that experience in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11 After Show clip, above, shared exclusively with Bravo Insider members.

In the RHOBH Season 11 After Show this week, the RHOBH cast also opens up about the incredible party, including Sutton Stracke, who shares her emotional reaction to a certain party VIP guest: Crystal's mom (clip below).

Crystal opened up about how important Chinese New Year is to her family in the After Show and elaborated more on it in a sweet post on Instagram that she shared before the episode aired.

"Tomorrow night on the season finale of #RHOBH, [husband Rob Minkoff] and I proudly host Chinese New Year along with my mom, Tina and her boyfriend Marshal. There is so much love and joy in my heart and I hope you can feel it watching. I had plenty of help to make it the dream celebration it deserved to be, and I’ll be sharing it as we lead up to tomorrow night’s premiere," she wrote. "Thank you all for welcoming me this past season."
