The countdown is on! Cynthia Bailey is turning 50 years old on February 19, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta fashionista has literally been counting down the days since the new year began, posting fun and fierce videos on Instagram of herself at home, out and about, and always enjoying life.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Cynthia told The Daily Dish that she's commemorating the days leading up to the big 5-0 because it's "such a huge milestone birthday." "I thought it was important to count it down. January 1 is exactly 50 days until my birthday," she explained. "I wanted to just acknowledge it because people are just dropping like flies. A lot of people don't make it to 50. And then when you do make it to 50, it's just such a blessing to have made it to 50 and still be healthy and happy that I wanted to just celebrate it. I wanted to celebrate getting older and celebrate being healthy and just celebrate life."

The RHOA mom said she is planning on going on a spiritual retreat to Thailand with her daughter, Noelle Robinson, later in the year when her schedule isn't so packed. She's also planning on extending invites to some of her closest friends. "I don't think I'm gonna have a party because I just think I have parties all the time," Cynthia said.

Though the past year has not been easy since Cynthia and Peter Thomas have decided to get a divorce, she said that she feels like there's a bright future ahead as she begins this next chapter of her life. "Spiritually, I'm in a really positive place right now. I think I'll just be better. Like if anything, I think I'll just continue to grow more spiritually as I get older because I think that just helps create a healthy balance for my life," Cynthia explained. "I have a very busy, hectic life, you know, being on a reality show, you definitely need balance. You need your peace, your calm. That's the beauty of my new home, Lake Bailey, and that's the beauty of just getting a little older every year and a little wiser, making better, positive choices that just serve your purpose to be a happy, healthy human."
