Cynthia Bailey’s Brand Launch Event Was an Epic Housewives Crossover
The RHOA alum thanked her “BravoTV family” for supporting her new sustainable bedding line.
Cynthia Bailey’s entrepreneurial spirit is still going strong.
After making a name for herself in the modeling and entertainment industries, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum decided to take on the title of business owner. And she’s been going full steam ever since. Over the past decade, fans have seen Cynthia embark on a number of business ventures that have included a modeling school, a private event space, multiple accessory brands, and a wine company. Impressive, to say the least; however, Cynthia refuses to rest on her laurels.
On Thursday, September 7, the mother of one hosted an intimate celebration for the Cynthia Bailey Collection — a newly launched bedding line made in collaboration with Sutton Stracke’s eponymous sustainable brand. The event took place in Manhattan and coincided with New York Fashion Week. Attendees included TV personality Carson Kressley, Broadway star Josh Breckenridge, magazine editor Susan Rockefeller, and numerous Bravolebrities.
RHOP, RHONJ, and RHONY ’Wives step out to support Cynthia Bailey
Photos from the event showed Cynthia and Sutton posing alongside The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Ashley Darby; The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, and Dolores Catania; The Real Housewives of New York City alums Luann de Lesseps and Dorinda Medley; and Southern Charm’s Venita Aspen.
“Such a great night celebrating [Cynthia Bailey] and her new [sustainable] line Cynthia Bailey’s [sic] Collection,” Sutton captioned a September 8 Instagram, “and we invited a few friends… stay tuned for more great things to come!”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member shared a few photos and a video from the celebration, which included White Castle burgers and a delicious-looking sushi spread. She also highlighted the collection’s inaugural offerings: purple eucalyptus sheets, as well as gray and pearl eucalyptus comforters.
Cynthia re-shared Sutton’s carousel on her personal Instagram account with the following note: “huge thank you to my [BravoTV] family for coming to support me! i love all of you.”

Cynthia Bailey reflects on her business moves
“My inspiration for the businesses that I have started comes from all the things that I organically love, care about or have passion for,” she explained. “My brand is fashion, beauty, lifestyle, travel and wellness. All of my businesses are a reflection of my brand, expertise and lifestyle in one way or the other.”
However, Cynthia admitted that running a business wasn’t easy, as it required a lot of time and energy to “nurture it.”
“My biggest challenge has been trying to juggle and balance my business life and my personal life,” she said. “Becoming a successful businesswoman is part one, staying successful is part two — and the most important part. The real work is sustaining a business and keeping it successful while trying to have a personal/family life at the same time. It is very difficult and one of my biggest obstacles.”
