Margaret Josephs on Danielle Staub and Marty Caffrey's Rumored Reunion: "They Deserve Each Other"

The Real Housewives of New Jersey friend was rumored to have been spotted with her ex-husband Marty Caffrey on Instagram on Wednesday, November 7. And thank The Real Housewives gods because Margaret Josephs just so happened to be appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that night, giving us the perfect opportunity to hear her thoughts on the reported reunion.
Considering the fact that Margaret and Danielle had an epic falling-out last season of RHONJ, it should come as no surprise that she had a lot to say about the former couple. Danielle and Marty wed on May 5, 2018 on Bimini Island in the Bahamas, which we scored a front-row seat to last season of RHONJ. But just a couple of months later, rumors of trouble in paradise for the couple began to surface. Marty ultimately filed for divorce from Danielle in August 2018.
The divorce was officially finalized in February of this year. “This has been a difficult road for Danielle, but she is glad everything is finalized and she can now move forward to the next chapter of her life," a rep for Danielle said in a statement to The Daily Dish at the time.
It wasn't long before Danielle announced that she had gotten engaged for the 21st time to Oliver Maier on February 28. The two had planned to tie the knot on March 4, but soon reports emerged that they had postponed their wedding and were even rumored to have broken up.
Though Danielle and Oliver initially denied the breakup rumors, she recently confirmed the split. "Love life is great. I’m in love with my business. … I’m not interested in dating, I’m totally off the market, and I have seven men as business partners. I have work husbands,” Danielle told Us Weekly in September. “That’s what we’re going to call them. I’m working. I do about 14 hours a day.”
She also shared an update on her relationship with Marty with the publication. "He and I are getting along just fine," Danielle said. "Yeah, and we’re finishing up the sale on the house, so we will be announcing that soon, and I will definitely be staying. It’s gotten very peaceful."
